20 Mins of The Avengers B-Roll Footage (Video)

Today I stumbled across this B role footage from “The Avengers“. The four videos add up to more than 20 minutes of behind the scenes footage. All the major cast members make appearances and Joss Whedon hands out direction. Personally I have had my fill of “The Avengers” and the film doesn’t come out until three weeks from now.

I think ‘The Avengers‘ has been over promoted, and many will argue and say Marvel is just giving the people what they want. I guess I just miss the “leave something to the imagination” days of movie promotion.

I remember watching an interview with M. Night Shyamalan a few years back and he had it right when he said, “If I’d released ‘The Six Sense’ ten years after I did, the film would have never been as successful.” I completely agree with him. He went on to say the end would have been spoiled in todays social media environment.

This B-Roll stuff isn’t bad though. It’s cool to see behind the scenes footage. If you’re interested in becoming a filmmaker or you want to know how the process works, these videos are for you. In the videos there is no dialogue however, just background music.
